How watermelon environmentalism is keeping the POTUS afloatus

‘Watermelon environmentalism’ is the term that blogger Willis Eschenbach uses to describe the urban elites who are ‘green on the outside and red on the inside.’

The article presents a different angle than that of the Hillbilly Elegy.  Whereas the latter work explained why the white working class in the rust belt came out in droves for Trump, this little blog post, amusingly called The POTUS and the WOTUS,  explains why the crippling overreach of the Environmental Protection Agency keeps farmers on Trump’s side against the so-called environmentalists.

He uses it to explain why President Trump’s popularity seems unwavering – to the shock and red-faced rage of the urban green movement.
