Maureen Dowd: Donald Skunks the Democrats

U.S. politics has a serious problem, according to a liberal journalist: “Trump’s fatal flaw is that he cannot drag himself away from the mirror.  But Democrats cannot bear to look in the mirror and admit what is wrong.”

Trump is clearly kryptonite to the establishment, in large part because he disrupts all their talking points.  This is potent stuff for an electorate that can no longer tolerate the status quo.  And journalists are more incapable of handling the truth then almost any part of the establishment.

The fourth estate needs a fourth estate to hold it accountable….
