The fact that sex is a moral as well as a physical act with physiological and psychological affects is fairly well-documented.

What is new is the idea that even apart from the harm of STDs, there are always permanent physical consequences to the sexual act for women.  The Biblical claim that marriage makes a man and a woman ‘one flesh’ seems a hitherto hidden dimension.

One wonders whether the experimental sex-ed curricula being pushed around the globe might need some updates.
