Washington Post: Is the United States a regime of terror for the unborn?

U.S. President Donald Trump is involved in a regular exchange of accusations about being truthful.  It is not surprising, though still distressing, to hear politicians lie.  It is more disturbing when the media lies, when its whole responsibility resides in reporting and not distorting the news.

Here is some good news:  President Trump apparently told the truth about how radical U.S. policy was in failing to protect the unborn, and the Washington Post reported it.

The bad news: aside from outliers like China, North Korea, Vietnam and Canada, where the unborn enjoy no legal protection at all, American children are among the world’s most vulnerable while still residing in the womb.  And it is females and minority groups that are the most targetted.

Again, the U.S. lags behind countries like Canada in the injustice permitted against the very identity groups whose rights progressive governments (like Canada’s) claim to advance, but this is hardly a matter for boasting.
