Trudeau government unveils reproductive health projects

The Trudeau government is making its mark in foreign policy by setting itself up as a foil to the United States, providing financial assistance for developing countries that encourage women to kill the preborn.

In keeping with the doublespeak that increasingly marks this government, it describes its new aid policy as ‘feminist.’

Given the fact that Mozambique is, according to the U.S. Department of State’s 2016 report, “a source, transit, and, to a lesser extent, destination country for men, women, and children subjected to forced labor and sex trafficking,” one would have thought that a feminist policy would look rather different.

But Canada’s postnational foreign policy plays well with its domestic base and with the global elites of a similar mindset.

Never mind the facts.  Sunny days for neo-colonialism.
