New Netflix series for teens ‘glorifies children’s sexual escapades’

Netflix is launching a new series called “Big Mouth,” on September 29 and its promotional trailer has led to accusations of sexualizing children and promoting child pornography.

In one sense, it is hardly surprising.  Children are being exposed to sexualized content in schools as well as on the internet.  As the article rightly notes, “For decades, Hollywood has been pushing the boundaries of what is acceptable by constantly challenging cultural taboos for the sake of ‘shock value.'”

Parents be warned.
