Scott Masson – Shutting our Minds to the Truth

With the passage of Bill C-16, an alarming confusion of ideas presents itself: that we can ‘choose’ our own human nature; that it can be conspicuously at odds with our biological identity; and that it is the State’s ethical responsibility to insure individual performances of self-divination are acknowledged by everyone else without dissent.

That there is more at stake is evident in the fact that the state has effectively suspended civil liberties, and announced that the self-defined gender-nature of a few troubled individuals is now the official state of human nature, and thus a ‘human right’.

We are witnessing a wider variation of the Tragedy of the Commons, in which the goods of Western civilization are being consumed at an alarming rate by the progressive state.
