The roots of the current campus madness
The crisis in academia has been brought to public attention regularly in recent times. It did not begin overnight, and it was entirely predictable.
It is the effect of Cultural Marxism, whose vision of equality – moral and cultural relativism – is the premise for the justice-based identity group studies that arose in the ’60s and ’70s. Since the whole purpose of the studies is to achieve power by subversion, it is little wonder that the students are now turning against even sympathetic professors.
“Students are being taught by these postmodern professors that there is no truth, that science and empirical facts are tools of oppression by the white patriarchy, and that nearly everyone in America is racist and bigoted, including their own professors, most of whom are liberals or progressives devoted to fighting these social ills.”
